Linux Ubuntu

Hey, my windows got all messed up, so i decided to try out Ubuntu for a change
The question is, does rappelz work on linux? i have seen some topics on official forums but havent read them yet, maybe anyone here uses linux?
Would be nice to hear some help how to get rappelz working

i read that it works too... so has my bro, but we use windoxs so not sure how it works... if i find some one who runs it on rappelz i let u know how it gets run.

i searched forums for rappelz on linux, all topics were in suggestions
so it doesn't actually work, because the hackshield doesn't recognize linux system, although there were few people who said they're playing on linux, dunno gona search for some programs and try to run it

If you have a rly good machine you could at least try a windows emulation like wine or whatever... I'm no Linux Pro though.

ok this was a short linux experiance
couldn't figure out how to install graphics drivers and it broke o.O
well so i'm back to old 'n stinky windows XP
hate my download speed for rappelz client ;( 6-7 hours to download
but i'll probably be online tomorrow

so many complaints
even when it got released i knew it will stink, because vista is chicken in latvian

There's a windows 7 release candidate which you can download from Microsoft. Didnt try it myself, but I read a few reviews and it seems to be more stable, less resource hungry and less annoying than vista while being safer than xp. Only thing is, that you can probably only use it till win 7 comes out (planned for early 2010 I think).
